Aim of the Journal
The primary aim of Plant Genetic Resources is to disseminate cutting-edge and comprehensive knowledge on plant genetic resources, to promote their development, effective utilization, and conservation, and to raise awareness of their role as pivotal factors in food, economic, environmental, and social security, as well as sustainable development in Ukraine and globally.
The uniqueness of the journal lies in its dedicated focus on broadcasting data regarding plant genetic diversity across local and international scales.
Activities in the field of plant genetic resources in Ukraine leverage over 200 years of experience in the introduction, enrichment, evaluation, storage, and utilization of the gene pool of cultivated and wild plants by research institutions, breeding centers, educational establishments, and individual experts.
Manuscript Submission and Formatting Requirements
Manuscripts must be submitted in accordance with the Author Guidelines.
Information on Article Processing and Publication Charges The journal is a non-remunerated publication (authors do not receive royalties). There are no charges for article processing, peer review, or publication, including articles authored solely (without co-authors) by third-level higher education applicants (PhD students) studying under the state-funded program.
