Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy for Open Access
This policy includes information on repositories, technical means, and accessibility guarantees.
Each issue of the journal "Plant Genetic Resources" is released in both printed and electronic forms. All articles are published in open access and preserved for long-term use.
Printed copies of the journal are archived in the central libraries of Ukraine, specifically:
- Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine;
- Yaroslav the Wise National Library of Ukraine;
- Ivan Fedorov Book Chamber of Ukraine;
- Vasyl Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine in Lviv;
- Odesa National Scientific Library, and others.
The electronic version of the journal is subject to mandatory open access placement on the journal’s website: https://genres.com.ua/ua/arxv-vidan/
Technical Means and Standards:
- Digital Identification: Each publication is assigned a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier) 10.36814, which guarantees link stability regardless of changes to the web address.
- National Servers: Electronic copies of the publication are transferred for storage to the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine (VNLU digital repository).
Accessibility Guarantees:
- Self-archiving Policy: The journal adheres to a self-archiving policy, allowing authors to independently deposit the published version of their article (Publisher's PDF) in their institutional repositories and professional profiles (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).
- Contingency Plan: In the event that the journal ceases publication, access to its content will be maintained through library digital collections, national electronic archives, and all scientometric databases where the publication is registered.
International Indexing and Metadata Availability:
The journal is included in global registries, ensuring that information about publications remains accessible even in the event of technical failures on the main servers. The journal is indexed in:
