Abstract
Goal. To study the collection accessions of Bromopsis inermis L. and Dactylis glomerata L. in the main traits of seed and forage productivity, allocate the most valuable for further breeding.Results and discussion. In this paper there are results of the Bromopsis inermis L. and Dactylis glomerata L. gene pool accessions studing during the 2006-2010 year at the Institute of irrigated agriculture, which are used in the breeding for the creation of new high-yielding varieties of perennial grasses. There are characteristics of new varieties of Bromopsis inermis: Tavrіysky, Borozensky 7, Siwash, Buckeye; Dactylis glomerata Hersonska rannya 1 Іngulka 17 Oleshko 14, Darin, adapted to the conditions of the South of Ukraine.Conclusions. As a result of breeding work are presented the created new varieties of perennial grasses maximum adapated to the South of Ukraine.
