Abstract
The information on the taxonomy of perennial species of subgenus alfalfa Falcago, their centers of origin is presented. It is provided classification P.A. Lubentsa as the most advanced and successful. The experimental data on the collections of major economically valuable characteristics and biological properties are in the paper. Selected sample of alfalfa UJ0700149, which is characterized by high feed and seed productivity. A lot of attention in the study of the collection given to the study process of collection nodulation alfalfa plants. The donors with high potential forage productivity, and high intensity process of collection nodulation: UJ0700001, UJ0700139, UJ0700159, UJ0700065 of the mass (75,0-86,7%) nodules of the total number larger than 1 mm are selected. The samples: UJ0700001, UJ0700082, UJ0700065, UJ0700159, UJ0700162, at them 22,7-33,3% of nodules located on the main root have good traits. They are used in the further breeding work. A base (151 model), and trait work (28 samples) collection of alfalfa are created.
Keywords
