Abstract

The range of pollen dispersal, reaction to inbreeding, share autogamic flowers in the ear and spring triticale collection samples selective of fertilization in the Eastern Steppe of Ukraine was studied. Self-pollination occurs as a result of the fact that the pollen falls before the start of the open flowering. In varieties Аіст харківський, Хлібодар харківський, Соловей харківський, Коровай харківський and Легінь харківський, the self-pollination occurs in 99% among the chasmogamic flowers. Most varieties in the first generation after self-pollination does not reduce the levels of agronomic performances. Although in some cases, self-pollination reduces the performance of agronomic traits. Хлібодар харківський and Kargo have more range of seed set when the ovary contacted with the pollen of another genotype than it contact with the own pollen (at 44 % and 54 % respectively). The most number of pollen in Kharkiv region is transferred to the east and south away from triticale field. At a distance of 8m from the field more than 1,000 pollen gseeds subsided on area 1 cm2, at a distance 30 m – 589 pollen seeds and50 m – 298 pollen seeds. Within a radius down to 50 m from the triticale field the attended requisite number of pollen to pollination of the female component to produce of hybrids F1.

In the forest-steppe of Ukraine the isolation distance between varieties Аіст харківський, Хлібодар харківський, Соловей харківський, Коровай харківський and Легінь харківський not required. Rather it should be minimal, just for protection from mechanical obstruction.
