Abstract

Goal. A comparative evaluation of eastern galega accessions in competitive strain test of complex economic useful traits and select the best among them on productivity and forage nutritive value.Results and discussion. The paper analyzes the literature on the economic value and variability of the biochemical composition of galega orientalis depending on the phases of plant development. The results of the evaluation of the accessions of galega orientalis in the competitive strain test of the yield of green mass , dry matter and seeds were shown. Biochemical characteristic and evaluation of the accessions for their fodder nutritive value were given. Total amino acid content was 95.08% in BSAA-2, 95.09% in SEG – 1, and 95.18% in SEG -2 versus 92.1% in egg protein . Excess over the standard content of individual essential amino acids was observed. So, threonine content was higher in variety samples SEG -2 and BSAA -2 and was at 4.13% against 4.02 % for standard variety Nesterka , 4.05 % for the standard FAO and 3.6 % for egg protein. The highest content of leucine and lysine was also found in the variety samples of SEG-2. According to the content of phenylalanine and tryptophan excess over the standard FAO was observed in all the variety samples of galega orientalis . The amount of essential amino acids was 31.9% in BSAA-2 , 31.7% in SEG -2, 30.8 % in standard FAO .Conclusions. According to the results of economic and biochemical evaluation the best accessions were defined: SEG -2, BSAA -2 and SEG -1 with a yield of green mass of 75.4 , 81.6 and 84.0 t / ha, of dry matter 17.6 , 15.7 and 17.8 t / ha, seeds 0.75 , 1.14 and 0.75 t / ha, respectively. It was found that the amino acid composition of the protein depends on the varietal characteristics.
