Abstract

The article analyzes the experience of the introduction and acclimatization of decorative trees and bushes in the National dendrology park "Ustymivs'kyi". As the number of species of trees and bushes that grow well in the arboretum of Ustymivs'kyi dendrology park, first place belongs to the European species (134 taxa), Chinese (49) and Northing America (137) origin. On 10.01.2012, the collection consists of 467 taxa belonging to 53 families, 123 genera, 367 species, 100 subspecies, garden forms, varieties and hybrids. 3% of these collection is a native species and 30 taxa - Rare Exotic. Most of the available species grow well here, bloom, give good quality seeds and natural regeneration. Of the species exotic plants that are cultivated in Ustymivsky Park, age about 170 taxa of 90-115 years. The presented results of a comprehensive evaluation of the success of the introduction and acclimatization of exotic species (with integral indicator modified acclimatization numbers). Collection material of the park is a unique collection of species from different climatic zones, which have successfully passed the introduction, acclimatization and became the basis for the collection of seeds. Seedlings obtained from these seeds are more adapted to the local soil-climatic conditions than the parent plant. A list of species recommended for practical use in landscaping.
