Abstract
The thesis is dedicated study of problems of biological, ecological features, and also intraspecific variability of a dogwood (Cornus mas L.) in Transcarpathia. Modern area of Cornus mas L. in Transcarpathia is investigated. Explicitly the seasonal rhythm of growth and development, flowering and fruit brearing C. mas is studied depending on a weather conditions. Morphobiological features and ontogenesis of wild forms are investigated a condition of populations C. mas in Transcarpathia. Behind outcomes of long-term observations of variability about 50 forms their evaluation behind biological and selection characters is conducted: bioecological peculiarities, colour, the dimensions, the form, quality of fruits, the dimensions of stone, productivity, establish 5 groups behind times of ripening. Are secured and offered for an introduction and the further breeding and selection of 10 perspective forms. The biochemical content of fruits is specified. A series of forms of intraspecific variability of structural and functional characters С. mas is studied: endogenic, individual, ecological and geographycal (interpopulation); the structure of correlation of morphological characters is investigated. Optimal ways of reproduction are developed. Directions of use of perspective forms are determined.
